Salt Lake City, Utah is a fantastic destination for those looking to explore the great outdoors. The city is surrounded by some of the most beautiful national parks in the country, making it the perfect starting point for a campervan adventure.
Our Story
We decided to rent a campervan and set off on a journey to explore the national parks of Utah. Our first stop was Zion National Park, known for its awe-inspiring red rock formations and picturesque canyons. We spent the first night of our trip parked at the Watchman Campground, which offers stunning views of the park and is conveniently located near the park’s main entrance.
The next day, we set off on a hike to Angels Landing, one of the most popular and challenging trails in the park. The hike takes you to the top of a 1,500-foot high rock formation, offering panoramic views of the park and the surrounding landscape.
After Zion, we continued on to Bryce Canyon National Park, known for its unique hoodoos and natural bridges. We parked our campervan at the Sunset Campground and spent the night under the stars. The next day, we hiked the Rim Trail, which offers breathtaking views of the hoodoos and the surrounding landscape.
Finally, we ended our trip at Arches National Park, home to more than 2,000 natural sandstone arches. We parked our campervan at the Devil’s Garden Campground and spent the night exploring the park’s many trails and arches.
